What you see
Each of the parsed requirements, up to 40, gets one of four outcomes. Additional and omitted passages remain available for review in the check.
- Covered. The ad’s wording appears in your CV, with the closest line shown beside it.
- Partly covered. A related line exists, but it may do different work (for example “supported” where the ad says “lead”). You decide.
- Not shown in your CV. No line in your CV shows it. You may have a true example to add, or the experience may be absent.
- Needs your judgment. A condition such as work rights or a licence. Only you can say, so it is flagged rather than scored.

Why there is no percentage
A percentage hides which requirement is missing and depends on how one tool counts words. Jobvance shows the requirement and the closest line from your CV, so you decide what to add, change or leave out. Matching words are a starting point, not a verdict. Read more in What is a good CV match score?

A change is rejected if it adds a number, a capitalised name or tool, a qualification word, or a stronger ownership verb than your CV uses (for example “led” where you wrote “supported”). This is a rule check on wording, not a fact-check of your CV, so read every change before you download.

What does the check show me?
Up to the first 40 parsed requirements in English, one of four outcomes (Covered, Partly covered, Not shown in your CV, Needs your judgment) and the closest line from your CV with its line number. Additional and omitted passages remain available for review.
Why is there no match percentage or ATS score?
A percentage hides which requirement is missing and differs between tools. Jobvance shows the requirement and the CV line behind it. It is a guide to what to strengthen, not a hiring prediction.
Does my CV leave my device?
